The position will involve general licensing administration duties including dealing with enquiries from the public and licence holders, processing applications, issuing licenses and writing committee reports. The Team deals with a range of functions including the Licensing Act 2003, Gambling Act 2005, Taxi Licensing and Charitable Collections.

Are you an organised, detail-oriented, and self-motivate individual with a passion for public service? Cheshire East Council is looking for a Licensing Administration Officer to join our dedicated Regulatory Services and Health team.

As a Licensing Administration Officer, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the Council’s licensing functions. From processing applications and DBS checks to maintaining accurate records and advising the public, your work will help ensure our communities are safe, fair, and well-regulated.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a very busy and dedicated team dealing with a range of interesting and complex functions.
