 5 x 30-hour Support workers 

Experience is welcome but it is not required as full induction will be given along with all necessary training and support however if you are caring, friendly and have a commitment to enrich people’s lives whilst treating individuals with dignity and respect, we would welcome your application.

Care4CE, who are the provider services for Cheshire East Council, offer services to adults with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health needs, autism, and dementia.

 The role of Care and Support worker will include:

 

  • Providing a high quality person-centred care and support service
  • Delivering daily support to Tenants such as personal care, administration of medication, accessing community services i.e. GP services, attending hospital appointments plus other activities to support individuals’ choices and interests.
  • We support tenants with household management (i.e cleaning tasks, weekly food shopping, preparation of meals and managing finances).
  • Promoting Tenants integration and inclusion into the community by going out and about, social interaction and opportunities.
  • Empowering Tenants to lead fulfilling lives.
  • Treat tenants with Dignity and Respect.
  • Be enthusiastic and flexible.

You will receive:

 

  • Membership of Local Government Pension Scheme.
  • 33 days leave entitlement from day one, rising to 38 days after 5 years’ service.

This includes working a rota shift pattern between the hours of : -

 

Early shifts:

8.00am - 15.00pm

 

Late Shifts:

15.00pm till 22.00pm

 

This does include alternate weekend working with weekend enhancements, also working Christmas/New Year & Bank holidays.
