Permanent Grade 4 Community Support Worker (Supported Living) - 21 hours per week

Location: Macclesfield

Macclesfield Supported Living Network provides individualized and person-centred care and support to individuals living in their own homes. We help people lead fulfilled lives, participate in their local community, and maintain tenancy agreements.

Support is available 24 hours a day and focuses on maximizing people's independence, choice, and control. This includes assistance with medication, money management, and all aspects of daily living. Our network works in partnership with individuals, their parents and families, and a range of other services to ensure that people's choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in the support provided.

Location: Macclesfield Supported Living Network
Hours: 21 hours per week x 8 positions

Role Overview:
Providing support over a 24-hour period, focused on maximizing people's independence, choice, and control. We work in partnership with individuals, parents, families, and a range of other services to ensure that people's choices, aspirations, and preferences are reflected in how their service is provided.

Requirements:
The job holder must have the right values, an excellent level of spoken English, be friendly, and have a positive approach. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given. Flexibility is required to be part of a rota, which includes working every other weekend and bank holidays. Shifts are on an early and late basis (8-3 & 3-10), with a nightly sleep-in option for those who wish to.

Support Provided:
Support consists of all aspects of daily living, including personal care, food preparation, administration of medication, and managing finances. The service operates over 24 hours.

Pay:
Starting pay is £12.85 per hour, increasing to £13.05 per hour, with time and a half at weekends and all bank holidays except Christmas Day and Boxing Day, which are double pay.
