Clerical Assistant

We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a clerical assistant for one of our busy Care4CE services.

The administrator is often the first person that a customer, contractor or family member interacts with, so they are the face and voice of the service in the first instance. We are looking for someone who is dynamic, has great communication skills and is resilient and adaptable to the changing needs of the day-to-day challenges of this busy role.

The role will be at Knutsford Supported Living Network which is based within the local community where we support tenants with learning disabilities.

This 25-hour post can be worked over 4 or 5 days to suit, at pay grade 4.

26 days annual leave, plus bank holidays (Pro rata).

You will cover all administrative duties for the service which will incorporate the following:

  • Processing annual leave, absence and payroll
  • Maintaining and updating all in house systems
  • Support to the Resource Manager and the Senior Supervisory team
  • Ordering supplies and paying invoices
  • Dealing with customer finances
  • Maintaining records and payments for the lease vehicles
  • Archiving of records

This is a busy service requiring skills in attention to detail, the ability to meet deadlines and prioritise your workload. You must have ICT skills and knowledge to be able to effectively use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Alongside these skills you will need to be adaptable to the changing needs of the day-to-day challenges of this role.
